If you are visa-exempt, will you be asked to send your passport at one point for PR? I'm worried if they may end up asking that as I'm currently in Canada on visit and will need my passport at one point to go back to my country, and then back for another visit here. :/

How long will it take between Permanent Residence Status says in Process, to getting the second and third line?? I feel like I'm waiting forever. Surely, they've received my medicals and should be processing by now.

How come you have to send your passport at one point?? What if you have to use it, and you got no clue when you get it back? Say, if I was in Canada visiting my husband and I was told to send my passport within a limited time frame, I'd be kind of unnerved.

When do you know you got 'Ecas permanent residence application status in process'? We got an email saying my husband had been approved as sponsor, and that my file was forwarded to London for 'further processing'. Also, what would AOR2 look like and why would you get it?

Yay! We got SA too today. Coincidentally same time as my panel physician sent off the additionally requested docs to CIC. Now my case is off to London and we have to apply with Quebec. Ach, more application papers and fees!

Phew. I got my request for additional documents done. Mega expensive psychiatric report, done! Now it just needs to be sent to the panel physician and onwards to CIC. And we still didn't hear anything about SA. Gulp. I hope aaaaall will proceed without trouble now.
