Can i do that my self, since i applied through immigration consultant,my hubby is in canada and i live in guyana,
You'll probably have to have your husband apply for you (you'll have to sign a consent form to let him apply on your behalf), but you shouldn't need to go through the representative: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp

It takes about 30 days for them to process requests and that's how long it took to get mine.

Finally got my husbands CoPR in the mail today!!!! ;D

Congratulations!!

I received my first GCMS notes. I saw it in my email; when I was in the US for a work trip.. i just printed them off.. there were 16 pages. I had my SA back in June 13.. my case was just forwarded to Paris; therefore I was not able to see much on my wife, aka PA side.. everything is blank including assessment.

However now I understood why my SA was delayed.. almost 90 days.. they were checking my old undertake, which was my parents I sponsored by in 2009.. they were never on welfare. CIC requested BC social service twice for my parents and me in fax.. no reply from B.C. until last month. thats why it was delay.

I wanted to point out one thing here. Someone suggested that fax CPC-M document without their request might delay the process. it was not the case. I faxed in my 2015 Notice of Assessment. GCMS note indicated that they received it. did not seem to be the cause of my delay.

once CIC received a negative result of if my parents and I had been on welfare before, after a day; notes said SA past.
I received an email in 3 days.

Interesting.

As if the BC gov took so long.. That sucks man.

Did you request the sponsorship file? Usually that is about 14-16 pages.

The PR file is what will contain your wife's application information and notes. Even at SA that file was 30 pages.

Do they send gcms notes by email then?

Also any idea on how to order them if you live outside canada?

yes. email indeed. do you have a friend or relative back home? you just need a creditcard to pay it online.. 5.00.. maybe leave email address as yours. although you do need to scan the consent form and sign it yourself. as this is someone in Canada request on your behalf.

i'm pretty sure canadian citizens can also request the file when abroad. they would just need to pay the $5.00 fee instead of getting them for free...

Well, looked like MIDI sent the sponsor approval letter to our old address. Luckily, our former landlord called us...
Guess they're not in touch with CIC about mailing address. Grr. Least they could do is ask for a mailing address, sigh.

Your wife is Canadian, she can order them on your behalf.

You fill out IMM5744 Consent Form.

This is a good information especially for those who are worrying why their SAs are delayed. Thanks for sharing.
