Guys,

I got SA on May 27. I am yet to receive AOR2.
How many days will it take?

NDVO sends AOR2 usually by 10-15 days of sponsorship approval. you should be hearing from them soon

What exactly are GCMS notes? How do you order them?

I'm wondering the same thing. Can anyone explain?
Also, how does everyone come to know these things? o.o

It depends on how much of a backlog that office has. Normally, if they have to request documents they will put the application back in the processing queue. A few Ottawa applicants lately have had document requests, sent the documents that day or the next, and received a decision within a few days, but that's Ottawa. Who knows if they just don't have a backlog anymore or if the CIC is using them as a pilot office to test out some new procedures/policies.

With CPC-M I'm not sure how long it would delay SA. It could be as little as a couple weeks, but it may be longer since CPC-M is so backed up right now.

Thanks! - Luckily I've just recently got a two year work permit so as long it's not delayed for 2 years, I'm happy!

Look my timeline; I sent the option C of 2014; cuz 2015 tax return wasn't ready; when I sent my initiAl application. I faxed in 2015 return without they asked on May 12...looks like I delayed my own application...what did they ask u to submit.

Just wanted to double check the common-law date. We think the officer got confused with their own system. She told us the common-law date is the date we moved in together, not the date 12 months from that day... So we had to write a letter, sign it and send it in.

AOR2 can also be when you see a third line added to the PA's ecas.

Congratulations to the person who got SA!

If you call to inquire about SA and the call center agent tells you not to call back for 3-4 months, don't worry. That's what they told my husband and when he called back a week later we had no issues and were told we got SA. Keep calling every week or two until you hear something, if you want.

You could be getting SA any day now really. We got SA at 51 days and I didn't find out until a few days later and my SA email came a week late.
