They want a further medical report. I have some psychiatric diagnoses, so they want a bunch of information, if I'm a danger, need healthcare, blabla. I'm worried though, because I intend to not work and stay at home.. I can't see how that should be a dealbreaker though, as long as I don't cost...

When the day comes and PR is approved, what exactly happens then? Will they send a PR card to your outland address or to your spouse, or, does anyone know what happens exactly? I'm wondering, because I'm hoping I can get to stay with my husband in Canada as a visitor while the case is being...

Oh, I see. My husband lives in Quebec, so I think we have to have our application forwarded to them first and then receive instructions before we can pay any PR fees. Also, kinda sucks that the pay your fees page doesn't mention paying PR fees up front is an option, how are you supposed to know :/.

How come we need to write a Visa office in our home country in the spreadsheet? Will Canada be in contact with a visa office there? And how do you find out what your visa office is? D:

Oh, I see. Thank you all! I will just enclose the document I got from them by email (which is what I called receipt, but I suppose it's more right to just call it proof of examination).

I'm confused though, how come some are saying you don't need a job to sponsor your spouse? Isn't that why they talk about minimum income requirement and ask for employment papers, payslips and everything, so to prove you can take care of your sponsored spouse?

It looks somewhat similar, though the instructions on it are more vague. I'll take it I should just disregard the first document checklist saying I need a signed document (IMM 1017) and send the receipt!
