no update on the ecas for me today.

my analysis is based on the rhythm ottawa followed to issue MR. it will be either tomorrow or after a month ???

thank you for putting effort into this. my app was received on 12/12/2014. MR: 26/06/2015. no DM or PPR till this moment. if we don't get anything by tomorrow noon, i am afraid that we will have to wait until February.

Ottawa office has been wild with the ppr lol. Looks like we are only few left. I hope we won't have to wait till next month to get the rfv email.

this is just like what happened in the last MR. first batch was on 26-06-2015. followed by MRs until the 30th. then people had to wait till August. I just hope we get DM or PPR in this week or else we will have to wait for more 6 weeks :-X

Thanks Diplo. I have given u couple of +s before ;) Another observation: I have noticed that my ecas on updates on Fridays. Even all the communication i received from ottawa was on a Friday. So maybe by the end of this week all of us shall receive DM inshallah :)

I have noticed that ecas status updates after 12:00 am ottawa time. so it is better to check it after midnight versus checking it every 10 min :D

that's not true. a phd applicant will receive his pp back this week from ottawa with visa stamping. he got ppr early december.

Finally some movement for fsw files at ottawa! My ecas is still in process. Let's give it a week or so :D

Before they said it will be updated monthly and it hasn't been update for a good 12 months. They don't really stick to their words.

I don't think that we even had the option before. The only way to communicate with them is by email or phone call. Other visa offices don't have the phone option.

we all know they have a quota and we all applied within the quota. some apps were rejected because quotas have been reached. they weren't prepared enough to process all these apps. by prepared i mean, didn't have enough visas. on a side note, most of things in canada are like that, it is...
