it doesn't! that why i had to go another time to the borders to land. even the officer looked at my instructions and he was like: "I DONT CARE YOU STILL NEED TO SHOW ME THESE PROOFS."

i just looked up conditional PR and it is only mentioned in sponsorship. and i thought the stress and thinking will be done after landing ;D

it doesn't say anywhere that it is a conditional PR. they asked me for POF and a letter. I told him i only need either one of them; he said no, I need the two.

Hey Diplomatru, the officer at landing left a note on my file that he is still waiting for a reference letter from my employer. Do u think this will cause a problem Or can that officer revoke my PR in case my manager don't send the letter? Thank u!

u can google them. i did a lot of research and came to a conclusion: never do in-land landing because it takes forever unless u live near ottawa; in ottawa u can walk in and finalize the landing without an appointment (only on certain dates thought). if u r already in canada, just go to the...

yes. u need a travel document. u apply for it from the visa office outside Canada (embassy).

Try CEC forum. Most of them do in-land landing. When did u get your pp back?

is the mailing address different from the address that the passport was sent to?

I need to travel between this period too. that's why i sent my pp right away; it is taking around one week to get it back (give it 10 days). so i think we can travel first week in Feb. and do our landing at the airport on our way back.

I received ppr this morning as well. I sent my passport to ottawa. I removed my work permit from my pp, do you guys think it will be a problem?
