    Hey Jo-Macral Our passport was received at SVO on March 13th, we received DM on April 11th and passport received back in Canada on May 1st You will have 1 year from new medical to land or the expiry on the passport Hope things move quickly now... which they seem to be... we waited 2.5 months...

    I would have a new Police check done and send as somewhere I read that they are only valid for 3 months I would send the passport by registered mail or courier directly to Singapore If they issue the visa and copr quickly you will only have until August to land in Canada... we had to redo part...

    It is great to see SVO picking up their speed a little bit :P But everyone must remember that each visa officer processes things differently... just hope you get one that is pretty quick This is a long journey and it definitely tests your patience ... over and over and over again Everyone...

    You can go to Canada and leave the country again after 2 weeks... however you won't have your PR card within 2 weeks of landing in Canada as it takes approximately 6-8 weeks to receive. So you will have to apply for a travel document to get back into Canada You can land anywhere in Canada...

    Having a child in Thailand will not help her chances of getting a TRV We applied twice with no luck and then once sponsor was approved we applied again with Dual Intent and in a week we had the TRV Let me know if you would like more information Cheers

    Congrats Sammikens !! Our visa and COPR were issued April 11th... 2 days prior to Decision Made We received PP and COPR on May 1st... mailed to Canada Safe travels :)

    Well we have good news :) I have been away for a few days and passport was received back on Thursday May 1st Have until November to land We will go to the border in the next couple of weeks to land!!!! Anyone else receive their passports back last week??? Good luck to all waiting

    No... it just means they have doubts about your relationship Many people have interviews and still receive their PR. Just be prepared for the interview
