You don't have to apply through inland if you get a tourist visa to Canada The processing time is quicker if you apply outland :)

The OP has indicated they were married in 2012... so why worry about the cohabitation... not applying as common-law

That is awful... our MPs office has been so helpful. Luck of the draw I guess :o I don't understand why they can't process in order of being received... ticks me off to say the least I have also heard processing time at SVO has increased to 30 months :(

Recommend passed usually means an interview is waived :) I hope that by your MP making an inquiry on your file that someone gets moving on it There are applicants that applied 5-6 months after us that have already received their visas from SVO :( :'(

Your application hasn't been assigned to a visa officer yet :( The VO who everyone complains about is AG00894 See if you can find any future dates or bring forward dates

Just an FYI for those that have applied in 2013 Singapore seems to be moving at a much more rapid pace than they were last year... but be prepared to wait up to 12-18 months to finish this process... All files are different and all visa officers are different in the way they process applications...

You are wasting your time emailing Singapore VO... they take months to respond if they respond at all You are better off ordering your notes to find out what stage your application is at

Here is a link to locate your MP Use either your last postal code from when you were in Canada or if you aren't returning to the same location use one where you are going to be moving to :)...

I called the 1-888-242-2100 number and they said there isn't a phone number to call from outside Canada as they only do the processing part for people in Canada... BS in my opinion I think you should send an email to your MP's office and have them look into it However I have seen somewhere on...
