We went in process on Nov 4th and then received an email on Jan27th for medical reassessment and PPR X ray done here and waiting for dependants to make way to BKK tomorrow for reassessment Then PP will be sent

Pretty quiet in here :( We had to redo xrays for applicant and dependants have to see doctor in Bangkok ... not a great time to be taking children into Bangkok :-X Xrays done here in Canada and have to be couriered to Manila... as original medical wasn't done on the new e-medical system...

Sohana, Check your email regarding PPR... they would ask for photos to attach to your COPR prior to sending to you

Can anyone advise what the letter for their remedical said? Because our instructions don't say to wait 6 weeks after medical to send passport

We received a request for remedical There are non-accompanying family members that did the medical prior to application being submitted On the letter to take to the panel physician besides the principal applicant the non-accompanying family members are listed Do the non-accompanying family...

Thanks Shaw Medicals can actually be extended for up to 12 months past expiry Not worried about spending the money... Applicant is here in Canada on TRV but dependants are in home country with grandparents outside where panel physician is located... so we will contact our MP tomorrow to find...

Received an email dated January 27th Requesting new medicals and once done to submit passport along with an Appendix C and photos Was really hoping the medicals would be extended as that is the only thing preventing the visa from being issued Very happy about receiving this email :)

We have good news!! Received a request for remedical and passport Along with Appendix C So... wondering why the medical wouldn't be extended since that is the only thing permitting the visa from being issued Also do dependant children who are non-accompanying have to have the medical done...

Applicants from visa exempt countries usually don't get a PPR... they don't need a visa to enter Canada You will probably know by checking ECAS and see decision made... that usually indicates your passport with Visa and COPR are on the way back :) Hoping we all hear some good news soon
