Delhi takes 2-3 months to return passports.... however there have been some cases where the applicant had to travel all the way to India to submit and collect the passports that were stampted in 2-3 weeks. But this is uncharted territory and nothing is certain. There is nothing on the vfs site...

Thank you for sharing the info regarding vfs submission. There is still no information on permanent resident applicants submitting passports for stamping on the wesite. So I think vfs needs to be contacted to clarify if they are accepting it or Colombo. Although it says to "expidite submission"...

Vfs does give general timeframe for return of passports. It is as good as personal submission and collection of passports. VFS does save time of postage as it is quick as courier, otherwise the passports are returned by registered post. But this vfs thing is entirely new for PR visa....... so...

Congrats This vfs thing is new for passport submission. Can you kindly share the relevant text of email. The good thing about vfs is that they generally do give a time frame within which the passports are ready for collection.

@ Karambir you had guessed it right that processing will be done by Colombo and stamping by Delhi Goodone.

No medicals..... :( I do not know if it is good or not .... since they want the all documents all over again >:(

Not medicals mate :( just the letter asking for multiple documents..... edu + work etc.

If it says certified copy than it has to be notarised. If copy then a photocopy will do. Yes there is no harm in notarised copy.

Hi Me too got same. Is post- secondary educational documents & proof of employment last 10 yrs for yourself + spouse? What about IELTS? Original or copy?

Did yourself get a receipt form Delhi regarding the payment? Thanks

Not sure ...... but I assume so. The draft goes to Delhi and once encashed Delhi sends you a receipt which then needs to go to Colombo.
