I applied to MEng SSE in Jun this year for Winter '17. I had contacted them asking about the time they'll start processing applications and was told that they start this in mid August. So we still have to wait a lot. Yes, I've also applied to Regina and Dalhousie.

I've talked to a few people regarding this program and they suggest having a work experience is beneficial as people with work experience will get job easily as compared to others who don't have any. I've dropped the idea of pursuing this because I don't have any work experience.

Same! Mine is also stuck on 'preliminary review required' for months!! I don't know when we'll get a decision.
