You're lucky you're getting updates. I have no idea how far along my application is, because they haven't updated it other than the first 2 steps. I emailed cic to make sure they got my medical and they said yes yet somehow it doesn't say that online.

Does she have insurance from her home country? I'm from the USA and my insurance (aetna) covers my health by 90 percent in Canada. (however I have to pay out of pocket first, then send them the bill and they reimburse me in the usd equivalent)

Does anyone know if for on the schedule A I need to list myself as living in Canada even if I am only visiting Canada right now? And same for working, I am just visiting/unemployed would I list that in the work history section?
