Did he sponsor you in Canada? I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong) that if you got your permanent residence he has to be responsible of your finances (I forgot how many years) , regardless of if you split up.

I was asking because they haven't updated anything since January, so I was hoping I was choosing something wrong. I already know they've received my medical and background check, but they never update anything.

So I just now received my FBI fingerprint results for my background check. Where am I supposed to send these results? I have the Ottawa office Edit also do I need to send the envelope that the results came in, or just the results?

Paranoia was never my friend. I haven't ever done anything illegal but once I get the results back, am I allowed to open it, or would that seem suspicious to my VO?

From USA, gave the fbi my fingerprints in February. No word from them.

I will check on the credit card when my husband gets home. I contacted the Ottawa office and asked them if somehow the fbi sent them the fingerprints. I don't think they did. Imo they seemed like good fingerprints, but I'm not the fbi.
