Ironically when I called them when 8 weeks had passed, they told me "there is no such timeline"... :rolleyes: May I ask which email did they mean? The same email they sent us the test invite? I know they are not likely to reply but I might have a try... :(

Sorry I was away from the forum for a few days... My test was in March and DM in May, now 4 months after the test and 2.5 months after DM, nothing happened... :( @zeyzey6 I see many people said contacting MP could be helpful, but I am just curious that we are not Canadians yet, why would MPs...

Mine changed to DM 2 months ago, the citizenship ceremony status is still "not started"... They are taking their time! :(

I am with Halifax office too! I got DM in May and am still waiting for the oath invite, so it looks normal. :)

@Doda got it right again! :D They won't contact you and give you the official result... You will need to call them, usually give them a week's time then should be good to call.

@Doda got it right! It's just a bit hard to get the ID stable and centred using one hand while another hand is clicking the mouse... Also the picture always looks blurry - this isn't due to webcam's resolution, it simply because most webcams are not designed to focus on such a short distance...

No worries, many people have other tabs open and still passed the tests without issue. As long as you didn't switch to other tabs or windows during the test, you are fine! If you still have some doubts, just call IRCC about a week later, typically they will be able to confirm your official...

I think it really depends on the individual case... People who passed residency and language checks before the test (typically for those applied in 2019) will receive DM very shortly after the test. Recently some people (including me) received test invites before residency and language checks...

You are not alone for sure. Me and @zeyzey6 are in the same area. I completed my test last month but residency and language are still not started. Basically they've done nothing other than sending the test invite... gonna be another long wait for sure...

We are in the same boat! In fact, all of us in the thread are... I may also start to send anonymous complaints through their feedback webform (not the regular case specific enquiry webform). But I guess they never look at these feedbacks LOL And yes, please keep me posted if you have any...

It's great to know we are with the same office! Now I have a more accurate benchmark! I see you applied in Sep 2019, that's a very long and painful wait. :( I applied in Jan 2020, when I called to check my status in Jan 2021, they told me only passed criminality, all other stuff are not started...
