    Also, when they have completed reviewing your medical results you can ask for a soft copy of the report that they are going to send to the embassy. I requested mine via email after I received a notification from IOM that my medical results have been forwarded to the embassy. :)

    Since the purpose of your stay in Korea is to study, then student should be the correct status. I think to answer this question, you must refer to the kind visa that you're holding while in Korea. If it is a student visa, then that should be your status, a student. Do you hold a work permit as well?

    When have you done that? It takes a while for the status to get updated after CIC receives your medical records. My clinic sent my medical results last Monday, June 2nd, and my status is still "Waiting for medical records".
