    PNP PR - October-November-December 2016 Applicants

Yes you can have them running simultaneously. When one is approved, CIC will withdraw the other application. So it can be done. And VO is Visa office.

What were the addtl docs that were requested if I may ask?

    PNP PR - October-November-December 2016 Applicants

The Express entry is definitely quicker and if you can pay the addtl fees then it would prove beneficial as EE is usually processed in under 6mths. But if you are in a VO that is fast it may not make that much of a difference.

Explain what you mean regarding PR after medical? As far as I am aware you have 1 year to land after you do your medical. Which means that if you and up doing an upfront medical and you are paper based and your application processing time exceeds 1 year...chances are that you would have to redo...

    PNP PR - October-November-December 2016 Applicants

The next step here appears to be the Medical as they have already asked you for RPRF and PC so you are almost there! But if you have no problem incurring the additional costs and running the 2 applications concurrently...then go for it! They would cancel one when the other one has been approved.

Interesting that they have a 18 week timeframe to receive your AOR. But I guess they would give you the longest time in which they would respond by, as they have an overall16 mth timeframe to process applications.

I wanted to know if after linking your application to CIC acct, if you get notifications in your acct only...or if you get the message also via email? When I got the AOR email it indicated that once you link you would no longer get emails. So wanted to know if I always have to check my CIC acct...

Hi I understand your predicament, but as you have indicated it doesn't sound like incurring that extra cost would be worthwhile. You have until June 2018 b4 your work permit expires....plus paper based is midway to completion to possibly save maybe 3 months if you do via EE. Also I do not think...

    PNP PR - October-November-December 2016 Applicants

Also depending on the VO that your application is at, as well as having received 2 notifications from them, this should be factored. Have you already received your medical request? But at the end of it, if you are able to cover the costs for the additional application, then I say to for...

    PNP PR - October-November-December 2016 Applicants

Hi I think given that you have already started to receive correspondence from them, I think you should wait it out. Also the 16 month timeframe does not apply for everyone as processing speed is dependent on Visa office. So apart from the cost factor of applying under EE you can also look at...
