How come you didn't send Police certificate in your initial application? At this time it appears that you will have to wait until your BC has started and wait on the request. But my advice is to at least have it ready for when the request is made.

Based on what is in your CIC acct...your medical was submitted and it is being reviewed to see if everything is okay. Once CIC has reviewed the results you will see the details changed to you having passed your medical. I noted that I never received any notification when it changed...it was only...

Thanks, I believe the change occurred in 2-3 days from reviewing the results to have passed the medical. Once the doctor uploaded his report in e-medical it didn't too long thereafter.

That is a very long time for your passport to be kept. You should probably email to find out the issue! And no I did not appeal...I applied to CIC in April...but I started from the provincial level before reaching this stage! So that is where the 2 years came from. But I would definitely inquire...

Thanks for the clarification. Your case is unique so it's hard to say what would happen here. My advice would be to plead your case indicating the error that was made...and hopefully there is no issue. Best of luck and I hope it works out!

My background check was sent with my application and it still saying in progress. So it was sent before receiving my medical and RFPF request. My local VO is Trinidad.

Where is your file being processed? Maybe you need to contact them personally to see why your records have not been updated yet as July to now is a long time for it not to be reflected!

What Visa office was your file transferd to? Or are you an inland applicant?

Once your application for perm residency is submitted to CIC b4 your nomination expires you are good. It doesn't matter if you haven't rec'd your AOR as yet...you have already locked in your date from when you application was received.
