I completed the mandatory military service when I was 16-17 yo. Not sure if that is enough to be on SS, but it is a possibility.

Somehow I think I will get the PPR without any ghosts... I am only worried about the possibility of being on SS. If only I knew my security has passed (or not started at all yet) I would be more patient.

Actually for me it happens almost every time. For me to access in my portal I have to use an anonymous tab, and try to login twice, because on the first try it routes me back to cic.gc.ca... But now it seems to be an overload in their servers...

Yeah, but it not like CIC signed a contract stating the application WILL be processed in 6 months... It is just a target, not an obligation. My point is, I really hope to get the PPR this year, but even if it passes the 6 months, there is nothing much we can do other than wait
