I am still waiting for my GCMS notes to find out my VO, but just wondering... is there a pattern (country of residence, stream, AOR month, etc) that determines which VO the applicant will be on? Or is it random?

Why IP2? Since I received my Meds the BC status was always "We will send you a message when we start your background check". This is the first BC status update. I mean, if I am really IP2 that would be awesome, as by the trends I should be receiving the PPR in the next weeks.

I sent an email to the support, and received the tracking number, so I think that now it is just a matter of waiting... for either the GCMS or PPR hopefully.

I assume that every update on the profile triggers an email notification, but I am not sure as I did not have any update so far.

I paid the RPRF with the AOR. I thought they would ask for the RPRF only after everything was processed and the candidate approved.

I gave in to the anxiousness and ordered the GCMS notes from GCMSBuddy. My AOR was July 15, Meds Aug 02, and no other update since then. I sent my consent form last Monday. Does anyone know how long they take to acknowledge the receipt and start processing the request?

From Brazil I was able to reach CIC using Google Hangouts. Calling 1-888-242-2100 failed as well, but 1-613-944-4000 succeeded, and I ended up automatically trasfered to the 1-888-242-2100.
