TRV is not spousal visa, so I would assume your last name doesn't matter nor your status in Canada. It's your spouse coming to Canada for a visit, has nothing for you as a sponsor. I did not apply for TRV as I know it's a waste of time/money for bringing your spouse to Canada.

Hard to get TRV, but you can try. If you can get TRV for him, he can come and you can apply in land. Then he can stay with you in Canada. Again, getting TRV is highly unlikely.

Anyone that's sent additional docs to MVO recently, what was the process or any updates after the request? We were asked for additional documents last month which we submitted. Haven't had any other updates other than it's being reviewed.

If your dog is a good boy/girl then they can come to canada. No passport or interview required for the dog. Probably the immigration officer will just pet it when you are passing the border. Hope that helps!

I had the same issue. Even after the 1 month period expired the message changed to we did not get your fingerprints. So i contacted them to ask whether they need action from my end. It magically changed to completed after a couple days.

We had the same issue with biometrics and it eventually got changed to completed. I wouldnt worry about it.

If it is pa decision made then you will get your ppr. Sponsor side decision made is sponsor approval.

Right i am aware of that but i am more interested in change in line 2 in ecas for mvo applicants. Does that indicate anything?

Hello our file was transferred to mvo. We got line 2 change to processing your application yesterday. Do people generally get dm fairly quickly after this? I think in cpc-m this is the case but i am not familiar with cases in mvo. Thanks for help.
