FSW 2013 Applicants Timeline- Lets Network Here.

Hi. I did not pay using DD, but I don't recall any instance of anyone having their DD lost or mixed up. Hence, this should not be necessary. (All the same, I don't know if it hurts either :)) But you shouldn't have to do that. Best wishes!

As per previous applicants in this forum, leaving the VO field empty does not automatically imply a rejection. Some people went through despite that. As for the wrong ticks... It means you accidentaly implied more experience in specific jobs than you actually had. The officer may compare...

Hmmm. I think it's a bit more complicated than that :) While applications are at CIC, they are indeed reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. But it seems to be different people look at different NOCs, and within each NOC the order is preserved, yet people from a NOC may see their...

Hi cnd_2014, my answers inline: Not necessarily. I believe background checks are not a certainty -- this seems to vary from country to country and even from case to case. CIC may well conform themselves with the reference letters. Besides, they are looking for past experience - at least one...

Thanks, islandbabe! Quorax posts are indeed very informative and helpful. However, from his source link and other links, it would seem the process is easier than he describes for non-exchange countries with 24+ months certifiable driving experience. In Ontario, for instance, as per...

If you have provided an email address, that's how they will communicate with you. It's hard to tell when you'll first hear from them, but it seems it may take anywhere between one and two months at the current pace (probably closest to the shorter end of the scale). Nothing is certain, though...

One can only speculate, but given that the process is expected to be even faster this time around, by then CIC may already have published at least one cap update. I'd just tell you to push ahead and expeditiously gather everything, then submit as soon as possible unless the cap is known to be...

You should be fine, no need to submit another package to CIO in my opinion. As I understand it, IMM5669 is intended to reflect periods you've lived somewhere as opposed to short visits. You've mentioned the visits in form IMM5562, so I think you're covered. I am by no means an expert, but I...

You can request it using the Masters degree only. That's how I did it. Look up the "Deng" example in the Instruction Guide.

Great news, Dan! If our VO is working linearly, then Tolete and jr5150 shall get MRs in about 10/11 days, and I shall get mine by early December, Lord willing. Good luck everyone! :)

Santo Domingo... It was only me missing from this VO (from the spreadsheet anyway) and the one who took longer from PER to AOR (again, from those on the spreadsheet). Now praying it will take much less than the usual 8-9 months to get MR :)
