Nov7th Applicant....NOC 2134...CC Charged on 2nd Jan...still haven't received PER ??? :'(

PLEASE GUIDE, STATUS IN PROCESS AFTER MEDICALS RECEIVED.

Hi:

My first my E-CAS status was (1) Application received. and after sometime it changed to (2) Medicals received. and now the status says "in process."

1. Application received.
2. We started processing on your application on Jan 20, 2014.
3. Medicals received.

My question is why first they changed to Medicals received and after one month they put 2nd number as "we started processng on your application on Jan 20, 2014 after medicals received. I have sent my passport and landing fees on 21st Jan, 2014.

What does it mean, or it's a usual change in status please guide guys

Hi friend - did not quite understand this logic. Can you elaborate why like that?? (coz.... i also have Canadian Business visa and multiple times travelled to Canada on various occasions earlier)....

Well, I think you are taking too much tension. You will receive your PER at your time, for sure. I wish you good luck.

As far as your question is concerned, my observation is that CIC is updating applications received for NOCs less than 150 - 200 after sending PER but for NOCs which cross over 200, then CIC is considering even most likely complete & eligible applications under review into the CAP. This observation may be wrong but this is what I believe.

I am a bit confused now...
My ECAS was updated on 17th Jan. as "IN PROCESS" but i haven't received my PER yet.
As of yesterdays CAP update my NOC(2154) still shows 20.
I am scared that i might not be in.
or is it that I will be counted after CIC preparing and sending my PER ?
Is ECAS record created after review???

I've got the unique client identifier number on the 20th of Jan (NOC 3217/application received on 15th NOV/ LVO).
This was the first feedback from CIC, I wish and pray that you all get whatever you're waiting for.
I just need to know what is next and if there is a kind of an average timeline for the following steps.

Applicant Permanent Residence Application Status

When I open each one of them, they show the same thing: We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2013.
Did anyone have this problem before ??

I never got it Ewy2012, I guess it went to junk mail or my lawyer lost it or something.
But I received several correspondences from CPP-O after that, I guess am in the safe side.

London Visa Office Update

I have just received an interview call from the LVO.

Interview will take place in Abu Dhabi.

They have asked me to bring along all documents submitted, originals in same cases and copies in most cases.

They have also asked me to bring along police clearance certificates, all which unfortunately I will not be able to provide by then and I will ask them to give me another month for it. Will that be a problem? Can anyone advise?

If you really feel that you can't arrange original PCCs till that time, then you may try to request an extension to submit PCCs after the interview and if LVO doesn't accept it, then you may request an extension in interview.

By the way, where do you live currently?

I live in Saudi.

I will not be able to give them police reports from Saudi (because they have to first give me a letter addressed to the Saudi foreign ministry asking for a police clearance for me) and from the US (FBI takes at least 6 weeks to process clearances).

Other police clearances, I will provide them.

I will ask for extension during the interview. I have no choice. I hope it works.
