You have to register for it first on CIIP website (http://www.newcomersuccess.ca/index.php/en/about-ciip/how-to-register-with-ciip). Unless you register, you won't get an invitation. Unless you get an invitation, most probably they won't allow you to sit for the session. FYI, you need to have got an MR mail.
You are eligible if you have received one of the following:
an invitation letter and CIIP brochure
a medical/security notification letter
a visa pick-up notification letter
a Canadian visa (but have not landed permanently in Canada yet)
