Dear Mankaran,

Is it required to have invitation for CIIP session or any applicant can be attend the session as I am still waiting for MR.

Pls advise.
You have to register for it first on CIIP website (http://www.newcomersuccess.ca/index.php/en/about-ciip/how-to-register-with-ciip‎). Unless you register, you won't get an invitation. Unless you get an invitation, most probably they won't allow you to sit for the session. Because they need to plan their things based on the number of registrations they receive for the participation...

FYI, you need to have got an MR mail.

You are eligible if you have received one of the following:
an invitation letter and CIIP brochure
a medical/security notification letter
a visa pick-up notification letter
a Canadian visa (but have not landed permanently in Canada yet)

Hope i have answered your query Mohit :)

Rawdah,

In order to get in-depth info. on the kind of courses that are offered online & can be taken from your home country or other certification courses, you have to attend the CIIP session. That's because after this one full day session, they prepare an action plan for you & call you again for an hour or so for one-on-one session. It is then when they discuss, share & provide guidance on training or certification courses SPECIFIC to your occupation. I will be attending that one-to-one session tomorrow & get details about certifications for Mechies & alternate options :P

So, just reiterating, PLEASE DO ATTEND THE CIIP SESSION AT ANY COST! It will give you immense confidence & a sense of direction where you need to head to. :D

I was lucky to have our friend sinestra by my side during the CIIP session in Bangalore :D ;D :P

Thanks Mankaran :)

Please go ahead & submit all the documents now. You just need to mention the documents in the cover letter nicely. Give special care to mention the details about your Passport. You may want to use Bluedart services for sending the package. :D

Dear demi69.Of course you have to submit all passports from all four family members.
Don't you need visa for them...!! ;) ;) ;D ;D ;D....ask your wife. ;D ;D

For payment of RPRF fees you just need to submit for you and spouse if your kids are younger than 18 yrs.

Don't forget to add a nice cover letter with details of passports.

Thanks Javiya... actually they have specified RPRF fee for me and spouse, but nt for passports... thats why was wondering... ll send all the passports though... thanks anyway...

Just to correct the order -> :)

1. CIIP notification with MR, PPR, RPRF request.
2. With the MR letter, go to newcomersuccess.ca and register (upload the MR letter).
3. Someone from CIIP will call you and confirm registration and venue.
4. Invitation will be sent informing you of the venue/date/time.
5. Plan and attend.

Hope it helps...

Dear friend,
When you submit your RPRF?

Dear friends,

I calculated to myself 67 points. I have already received my PER. Is that means that INDEED i have this 67 points or visa officer in my VO will recalculate my points once again?

I have just received and email from one of respectful immigration lawyer in Canada and she said that PER means really NOTHING.
Is that true?????? :o :o :o
