    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

I received my file back very quickly when it was returned, but I live close nearby CPC-M. I had it back two weeks after it was received. I'm anticipating it will probably be returned again, as I have realized a few mistakes I made on the new one. I'm expecting to receive it back sometime this...

Advice on best way to mail package

You can expect to pay about $25-$30 if you mail it overnight or 2 day shipping. I've heard Canada Post horror stories, so some people recommend doing a courier like UPS or FedEx instead. I've used Canada Post twice with no issues.

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

This would be a reason that some people decide not to re-sign the forms. I think as long as your application comes back fairly quickly and you turn it around and put it back in the mail fairly quickly, there wouldn't be an issue. In my case, my application was returned on the old forms and I was...

You can re-send the same application, but some people recommend re-printing and signing the forms with the current date. Was your application returned?

Thank you for your response. You're right, I just double checked the checklist and it does state this. I wonder if this is a new requirement for the new application package as of December. I do not remember this being required for the old package.

I think you may be confused. I believe the applicants full name and date of birth needs to be listed on the back of the "official" headshots you submit (the small photos). This information does not need to be listed on the back of your 20 "relationship proof" photos, as far as I know.

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

As far as I can see, only one person from the 31st has received their AOR on the spreadsheet. The rest of the 29th/30th/31st applicants have not. So no.

Approved as a sponsor, waiting for an interview?

That's a great point. Based on OP's past posts, it looks like they applied inland - so it's possible she's talking about the landing interview and got confused when she heard "interview"!

Chances of my Boyfriend being Denied at the Border?

Yes, you can - in fact, you have to, because the receipt has to be included with your application before you send it in. Technically you don't have to shell out the full $1040 right away, because it's two different fees - $490 for the RPRF, which can be paid either upfront or later, and $475 +...

Since 2016 taxes are not due until April 30, 2017, many would (and have) assumed that the "most recent taxation year" is 2015.

***APRIL 2017***SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Unfortunately, both Friday and Monday are holidays in Canada, so I think it will be later than that. I am a 3/28 gal and still no AOR, hoping to receive it today so that I don't have to wait until Tuesday! With the 3/29, 3/30, and 3/31 folks still waiting, I think AORs for 4/3 and 4/4 are a bit...

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

I'm not sure if you realize this, based on some of your posts, so I just want to clarify: they don't enter your app into the system and then go through and check everything to make sure your app is complete. They only enter your app into the system after they've reviewed it and are going to send...

Question on Schedule A – Background / Declaration (IMM 5669)

Go check out the March thread on this forum for March applicants. Many, many folks on there have been discussing this and the various solutions (hardly anyone has been receiving the request email to upload the Schedule A). Did you receive AOR today? What day was your app delivered?

Very relieving I'm sure, especially after seeing folks get their AORs before you. That dang spreadsheet makes me so paranoid : ) Congrats!!

    MARCH 2017 *OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANT*

Someone just updated the spreadsheet; their application was received 3/23 and they just received AOR today. It seems like they've really slowed down on the AORs over the past week! Shame, since Friday and Monday are holidays, if we don't hear by tomorrow it'll be another wait until Tuesday...

    Receipt number

I included my residential address in the USA, and my mailing address here in Canada (my husband's address) since I'm staying with him as a visitor. Apparently IRCC will frequently return applications where this is the case and a Use Of A Representative form is not included, basically authorizing...
