Here is an update from our side, not yet a full fledged OMG though: Re-Meds were done today and the status changed to In-Process!!! Wonder how much longer is the wait now, will they meet the 15 month timeline??

I requested an update on the case specific inquiry a few days back and considering the 15 month timeline I was not expecting a response either. But, to my surprise 2 days after that I got the re-med's..this leaves me wondering if they were meant to send it anyways or if my inquiry triggered...

Were you asked for additional doc's at any stage during the processing time? If you were then you will be classified as an ADR applicant on the forum. ADR can also mean Alternate Dispute Resolution, that happens after one successfully appeals ones refusal of VISA.

Sorry to know that. One can never take NDVO for granted and plan anything without knowing the outcome. Lesson learnt I guess! Keep trying on the forum. If I get to know of anyone making a trip back from India and willing to help, I will mesg you. Re-Post your predicament in bold on the forum...

How did you manage to send the passport to them initially? Did you not think about this situation then? I know people in the past got their passports carried and delivered to them by trusted sources. So look around ask in your work place or inner circle who is travelling or returning from India...

ADR could be anything that's missing from the application or additional proof's. Some were asked for more pictures if the pictures they initially sent don't please their eyes, Some were asked for communication and continued contact proof (mostly in cases of love marriage) and Some got ADR's for...

ADR request email was sent to the applicant (Sponsored Person). But the ADR itself was asking for the sponsor's divorce petition. This request was made in May in our case.

Finally some sigh of relief for us, my wife just got a re-med request. The results of initial medical examinations for yourself has expired. In order to provide your application with an updated validity, we require following additional medical examination(s) for yourself: Analogue Chest Xray...

I called my MP today and as I was venting out my frustrations, sayin this is the 13th month blah blah blah..he goes "But you are still on your 11th month, you should hear something pretty soon and your time starts ticking from the time it reaches NDVO" Thanks W2E and others who chipped in your...
