Please comment! I did not receive remedical request yet. It's been 9 days since my interview and they said they will send it on the same day as interview. Is this normal? I am very worried. Please share if you have read anything related to this or know anyone in the similar situation. Thanks

yes jasmine its pretty normal. ..in the past its happened to lots of applicants who wait for so many days...
ur file go to IP that's gud thing dat you pass the interview. ..so just pray dese lazy morons Send you remedical request soon

my hubby's out of town for few days so I hope he will come soon and after dat we will again go for this useless MP enquiry...and after dat we will know that whether his highness available now and look at my file soon or not..

As I am in Canada on Work Permit - I need to travel back to India to attend the interview on October 7th.
Passport has been couriered to my Indian home address in Bangalore.
Now, I am not sure how to get my passport. As per Indian law we are not supposed to courier Passports Internationally. I am not aware of anyone who is coming to Canada shorty.
I am as tensed as you can imagine.

Can anyone advise on what actions can be taken legally to get the passport to Canada from India before October 7th?

contact people (send personal message) in this forum who got their visas and leaving soon. Maybe some one can carry it back for you. I think Palaki is leaving this month. Geetu got visa recently. Check this forum and see who got visas and ask/beg them to carry your passport. Good luck.

if I choose both of the options then sure they will throw my file in the basement on the bottom of the pile...and never touched it again. ..

but I hv a better option. ..you already got ur visa na..then now you hv no fear about ur visa and they never throw ur file. ...so why not you sprinkle them itching powder on behalf of me....

Hi guys I need some help from senior member last month we received a email from New Delhi they are doing background check.i have travel history for Cyprus where I was an student but also I have illegal 6 month stay in austria but I provide them both Pcc but still I am worried abt that because I don't know how long they take for background check I applied in feb 2012 it's to much now someone help pls

if you send them both pcc's then its not matter dat whether you stays dere legal or illegal. ..the thing matters is you didn't do any crime dere...
background checks takes lots of time so hv pateince. ..but you applied since feb 2012 then its very long period of time. ..I think you should ask ur MP to find out whts the delay now....and how much more time it will take for checks. ..

Still awaiting to know my DM status as got DM since 29 aug but til date nothing upate abt my DM.think i am only left without NO Status after who got in aug.any idea how many days did OV take to infrom our DM status.

I had sent my passport through one of my friends who was travelling to India in January. I never knew I will have an interview and also I didn't know when NDVO would send the passport - so didn't plan for it and I have myself to blame for it. I have been checking with quite a few in the company here - still haven't found one

Sorry to know that. One can never take NDVO for granted and plan anything without knowing the outcome. Lesson learnt I guess!
Keep trying on the forum. If I get to know of anyone making a trip back from India and willing to help, I will mesg you.
Re-Post your predicament in bold on the forum atleast for a few more times and ask if someone is willing to help. I am sure like me others will try and help out.
BTW, what is the interview for? What category did you apply for? post your time lines.

Were you asked for additional doc's at any stage during the processing time?
If you were then you will be classified as an ADR applicant on the forum.
ADR can also mean Alternate Dispute Resolution, that happens after one successfully appeals ones refusal of VISA.

Yes I was asked to submit my husbands Police Clearance from India as he is from Afghanistan but lives in India. After almost 2 months we received another email saying submit your police clearance. But I replyed to their email saying we already submitted and attached a copy of PPC. Does it mean they never got it or they didnt want the one I sent?

Hi Sana,

I would probably do a Case Specific Enquiry to the office and say that you would like to know if they received the document. That way you will have peace of mind
