Please comment! I did not receive remedical request yet. It's been 9 days since my interview and they said they will send it on the same day as interview. Is this normal? I am very worried. Please share if you have read anything related to this or know anyone in the similar situation. Thanks

I was under the impression that you can do case specific inquiry only if your case has crossed normal processing time. Their page also says "You may use this form if: Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond to your inquiry if the application is within normal processing times."

i think, case specific enquiry can be made by anyone at anytime. BUT THEY dont reply to it all the time.

I have read on the forum if you ASK A SPECIFIC QUESTION, like "Has my PCC received by NDVO" they could be answered. some people were lucky to get some answers.

More generic questions could go answered, like when will i get my visa etc....

it's been 13 months since submitting my application and i got IP on 18 july, 14 with re-medical request to submit complete medical within 60 days,i went thru re-medical on 23th July,14 but the status is still same

1.We received your application for permanent residence on August 12, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on July 18, 2014.


i never got status like "MEDICAL RESULTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED" since submitting my application.

Is it normal and is anyone else has the same concern as me even after re-medical?

ecas is not reliable sometimes; first time medicals they acknowledge; remedicals they don't; in your case even if the first one was not acknowledged, it is ok; they would not have ordered remedicals if they had not received first time medicals results...some forum members have seen medicals results received in their ecas status only after receiving their 'decision made' status...

Yes I was asked to submit my husbands Police Clearance from India as he is from Afghanistan but lives in India. After almost 2 months we received another email saying submit your police clearance. But I replyed to their email saying we already submitted and attached a copy of PPC. Does it mean they never got it or they didnt want the one I sent?

A Similar thing happened to me . even i resent the copies of PCC but have not received any acknowledgement !

I requested an update on the case specific inquiry a few days back and considering the 15 month timeline I was not expecting a response either.
But, to my surprise 2 days after that I got the re-med's..this leaves me wondering if they were meant to send it anyways or if my inquiry triggered it..But ya, you've got nothin to lose anyways. Go for it.

Try fakename..positively they will reply...my lawyer did cse ...then only i came to know tat app is bein queued for an interview..
Notes were not saying anything...though i hv not received any date so far...

My medical is about to expire in a months time and my current status is in process since August 27th

Pl suggest if NDVO can ask for remedial now , if yes the can I get the medical done from different city , as in the city which is not the one from where I got the medical earlier

Or do I need to go for re medical from the same city and hospital from where I got it before .

Pl help and suggest

hey guys. Ive been IP since August 2nd.. no news no updates.. is anyone else IP this long? im feeling quite discouraged. I ordered notes a month ago only to realize they never received the request. Im going to do an MP inquiry soon.
