I get the feeling that after they did that large calling spree late October/early November they've booked most Service Canada centres for awhile and may be waiting for that wait time to decrease. They could either open the online application system again or have another run of calls soon hopefully.

It shouldn't, unless that representative is in an area that has a lot of people waiting but the same risk is run if you're doing it yourself. There were a lot of people that received calls that had representatives throughout the time they were calling, even very early on.

Hopefully yours comes through soon! It might just be pending it all getting linked in the back end of IRCC.

Yep, mine shows as "November 17, 2020 Completed." under the biometrics dot point and the number shows in the "Applicant information" table at the top. It updated about 3 or 4 hours after I gave my fingerprints yesterday.

Did my biometrics today at Sinclair Centre DT too, very smooth process. There was someone before and after me but it wasn't crazy busy. Biometrics are already updated on my Immigration Canada profile. Next step is waiting for a final decision!

They will call you back, don't stress. Keep your phone on loud and close by. Worst case scenario is you'll be waiting until the start of December when the booking system opens up. Perhaps of the active posters along with alessaine. If I cut-off up until the end of all March AORs, there's still 21 waiting for calls in BC out of a total of 157. Within that 21, you're 1 of 3 from Surrey too. If you work it out from BIL date too, it looks like you're actually 2nd in line...

I asked the lady on the phone to book me for the soonest available appointment at any location and she straight out lied to me. She said, and I quote, "Yes, November 17th will be it, there's no other appointments available elsewhere before then". This was at 1 27pm today and now I can see others...

Well, I just received a call saying that the system was incorrectly showing that they were able to book appointments on Saturday, October 31st and that now my appointment would be November 17. Anyone else receive this same call? @ike93 This is honestly a rollercoaster of emotions right now.

I should've mentioned, the lady from SC said that if I couldn't make the appointment this Saturday DT the next appointment available there would be "mid-November". Perhaps when you're on the phone suggest that another location could work for you too (Burnaby, Abbotsford etc) as I think DT...

They're unrelated. You could call IRCC to check if you've passed eligibility and they can tell you. I believe the biometrics just affects whether or not you can pass criminality but doesn't affect the other parts.
