    biometrics

There was someone in BC who had their attorney (based in Ontario) called. Service Canada received the applicants phone number from their attorney and then SC called the applicant back later the same day.

Who knows what logic they're using. @jasmin22 hopefully this didn't discourage you, I think the reason January looks so bad is there's so few people in the spreadsheet with AOR's from then. My guess is that all other January AOR's have done there's and never ended up in the spreadsheet to begin...

So I got a little bored at work and decided to play around with the biometric tracker spreadsheet. Here's some stats comparing Canada wide (first table) and BC (second table) calls from Service Canada. The percentage is calls received for those in each AOR. Looking at this we can see that BC...

Oh wow that is painful to think about. Mine was March 25th because it was the soonest I could get an appointment at Sinclair centre. Boy do I have regrets not getting an earlier appointment out in Surrey or something, I still remember there being some available around March 10th but I thought...

Did you (and all those with Jan/Feb AOR's) have an appointment booked that was subsequently cancelled due to COVID?

Wow, that's so quick! I'm just hoping that those of us with old AOR's receive their CoPR super quickly after (finally) getting calls and giving biometrics.

I had a friend go there last week to give biometrics (Friday). Not sure how long they've been open but the more locations the better! He said it was a very quick in and out process and there was next to no one there.

Here's hoping they haven't forgotten about us. Throw your details in the tracker at the below link when you get a chance: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GSNBhzTJpURznhFGKUjvWfqtvbSktSsczs1f8TrcrrE/edit#gid=0

@ike93 or @allenlucifer have either of you received calls for biometrics yet? I think us 3 are the only ones from North Van in the tracker.

I'm in North Vancouver. I used to be downtown but I moved mid-March and now I feel like that's cost me my appointment.

I'm right there with you! AOR of Feb 14. It looks like there's only a handful of people that have AOR's as early as ours that haven't received calls based on the tracking spreadsheet (in all of Canada). I'm starting to get so very frustrated by this whole experience and I just want to know when...

Yes, I'm having issues. It either takes me to a page asking if I want everything in English or French and then returns me to the sign-in screen again or if I make it through it won't allow me to check the status of any of my applications and gives me a 402 - bad gateway error.

Nope, still no call. I saw your name on the tracker and was hoping to see you'd been called! Fingers crossed we get something soon.

Maybe they'll let us give them at the Lonsdale SC, would save a "long" road trip to Burnaby or downtown....

Is this what your submitted application status page on the immigration website says or have you discussed with an immigration agent? I'm really hoping mine's the same and is completed within a few days of giving biometrics!

Okay that's excellent news, I'll give them a call next week when I have some time off work!

I did email them/submit a ticket and they said no, nothing more you need to do all documents are ready they're just reviewing it all. I'm assuming if my eligibility etc didn't pass I would've heard something by now and I would sincerely hope they've gotten that far given my AOR of mid-Feb. Any...

Also interested in this answer. Mine has had my medical ticked off and said I don't need any more documents but nothing else has changed. I've been at "100% complete" for just under 2 months now. I'm hoping it's just waiting on biometrics being submitted when I eventually get a call and then it...

    BOWP Tracker 2020

Temporary working visa's (including BOWP as far as I understand) are exempt from having to give biometrics. Refer to "COVID-19: Changes to biometrics requirements" in link for reference: https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/where-to-give-biometrics.asp

I will say perhaps it's not to do with that though, as my initial work permit expires November 1 (I applied for my BOWP so am safe for now). I think there must be some other form of "priority" given but I'm not sure what that may be.
