    I would like to mention that although online it says 25 calendar days - in reality most applicants are getting PR cards anywhere between 6-10 weeks. They also say 8 weeks when you do landing at the border. I am not sure why CIC website says 25 days.

    I guess people are confused. If you are a naturalized citizen, you can pass on citizenship to child born abroad....however, that child will not be able to pass his citizenship to his/her child.

    I dont know why are you being so stubborn despite of so many people just above me mention that the can find out if they need to. You are correct passport is just personal data - but they can pull up records from their database using your passport INFO - IF THEY WANT TO.

    Well you can say he is more or less a Jan/Feb Applicant then....adding your spouse after applying delays your application easily by a month or two.

    Not to sound rude here but I dont understand why people dont research the risks before taking these steps. When the officer in the border asked you - was there a reason you said never married? Also unless your wife is a skilled worker - the chances of her getting PR with the current rules are...
