Should I cancel my BOWP application after PPR?

CIC agent is correct. Your status in Canada does not change until you do the landing. So wait for your passport to be back and then complete landing. You can then cancel the application. Its just a matter of couple weeks and will not affect anything.

When is your application "in process" from? Also - where exactly did you read security hasnt started - Is it blank or specifically says "not started" under new value/ Update ( and what date was last update)? The reason I ask is because, Security results are never disclosed in GCMS notes due to...

February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

Yes thats exactly what it is. Until last year, my friends used to get PPR in 7 months via PNP. Now, express entry folks are getting PPR in 3-6 months....clearly they have allocated more resources to express entry.

I wouldnt worry if you are an April/May 2014 applicant. Do we still have a count for Jan-April? I counted 5 i think. Also its funny how, PNP was meant to be a fast track PR route when it was launched, now it is the slowest ( I have heard people who are applying in 2015 dont get their AOR for...

The website says Ottawa 17 months however, that means from the day of application. The agent i spoke to told me to wait till July 2015 - 17 months from Feb 2014. You should call again...only a few agents who actually look into the notes on your file can be trusted. An agent told me my file is...

AINP Application in CIC for January 2014.

Are your wife and daughter in Canada? Or living somewhere else? Apparently there is some kind of backlog in final processing of applications, hence the delay.
