February 2014 PNP applicant that already submitted their application to NS CIO

I am pretty sure there is a reason for delay. The only thing i dislike is how they have processed most Feb/March applicants already except a few of us. Did your Dec 2013 friend have any reasons for delay (like doc request) or was it a straightforward application? Most of us here have...

Although the website says 18/25 days - if you see the other threads here its taking people about 2 months on an average to get PR cards.

Did they tell you where your application is? Like Ottawa or CIO. I called them today, the agent said since my application is in Ottawa, they cannot provide an update. And no one knows how long it takes for medical extension since its an internal CIC process. My application has the same thing i...

Hong Kong is visa exempt to Canada, hence they will not ask you for your Passports. Did do however ask for your passport copies and photos i think...did you submit these earlier? If so, they would have sent you the COPR directly.

This kinda aligns with what i had said previously. The thing is that they have to extend medicals not just for processing but to give you enough time to complete landing. Remember, your medicals must be valid at the time of landing. So if they know that we will not be able to land by April...

The exact same thing happened with me...similar dates as well. Its so weird. One thing is sure that the first agent was correct, because I was able to verify that with the GCMS notes about my application. But ya...no idea about the wait. I have this theory ( and it could be completely wrong) -...

Guys any idea how many of Jan and Feb applicants are still waiting for DM/PPR on this thread? I called up CIC today after a month...this time the agent wasnt helpful at all and just said application is in process. Also - for Jan/Feb applicants - our medicals would be expiring in April/May...

Send your passport as instructed. AB12110 is a reference code assigned to Immigration officer working on your file. Every officer has their own code. You must mark it to that person. Also include your application number and client ID. It is always better to send a return envelope - even if...

Leazy - Assuming you give birth in Canada - Your child will be Canadian citizen by birth...it will not affect your application. If you give birth outside of Canada and before you become PR, the child must be added to your application so he/she receives PR as well. leazy
