Security check is performed by CSIS - basically check to see if you are a threat to Canada's National security - they look into the organizations you have been part of etc etc.

lol what? When i said incorrect - it really means something they cannot disclose. I am just trying to resolve some issues here so you guys feel better. But whatever floats your boat!

How do you know your Security check has not started? If you are getting this info from the GCMS notes - it is incorrect. As per CIC policy ( due to national security reasons), they will never disclose the status of your security check on GCMS notes. I have read a few people complain about that...

I am guessing you submitted your application.. If you had told rcmp your client id and file number - they will send directly...if not you can send it. Keep in mind...even if you dont send it ...it does not matter...cic does their own RCMP check.
