Passports Sent to Ottawa in February -2015

Canada Post xpresspost tends to update tracking numbers a day or two late (in my past experience). So it is possible they could have already shipped it and you receive it before a tracker is even activated. I wish they allowed for courier - because that is exactly what i want.

Passports Sent to Ottawa in January -2015

From a few friends that did it they all said a letter came with it saying how to book the appointment or it was a pre-booked appointment. For me i've always thought if the appointment is more than 2 weeks away and you've got the time off, go to the border to flag pole.

My girlfriend got a letter from the CIC saying they require her son to get a new medical... and that they must receive it within 30 days or the application will be declined - now we're so worried... Then yes you should be ok. Following other threads people either get all of their status changes/PPR requests at the same time or they get it in the "proper" process (Request for Landing Fee-> IP -> DM -> PPR).

Did you do your medical already and have sent it in? If not I'd probably say call CIC and follow up.

When you get your passport back there usually is a letter with instructions for a time/date on when to go to Service Canada (not necessarily always at a city hall) to perform your landing. Usually it's 3-4 week wait so most people prefer to do a flag polling. Especially since right now it's...

There is no basis for this statement. It would not make sense to go through all that processing on their side only to make people re-do it all. Furthermore in Canada December is the one month where the most vacations are taken other than summer months, with it being the christmas season I...
