    CIC Says that they do updates on ECAS on Tuesdays. If you're not able to get in that is usually why. However as it is wednesday and you are still having issues - try a different web browser and/or clear your cache/cookies of your web browser- this works for me always.

    If you're this close to becoming a PR i would honestly just wait until you get it before you go back home for a visit. Last thing you want is an issue to arise while you're over there and not finding out about it before it's too late.

    I think more so CIC works regular hours (Monday-Friday) they just do automatic batch processing (via computers/servers) on the weekends/evenings. We did that at my old job, all processed applications would get done during the day and input into the system, then at the end of the night the...

    have a friend who's IP is Aug 22 and they just got PPR only one hour ago via email! Do they actually send emails for this? I didn't know that.

    When you change your address you have to change it with the CIC AND with the province. When my gf applied all the paperwork went to her old address even though we updated to the current address on CIC - turns out they were using the address AINP had on file.
