If you have the means to and do not have the time to wait to get your PR then going to Coutts is probably the cheapest and quickest bet. Alternatively you could also leave the country by plane going somewhere you're eligible to go to and fly back... Otherwise if you're not in any rush going to...

My girlfriend applied ainp and moved in with me half way through the process. All she had to do is email the ainp office with the change of address form and then update the address on the cic website as well. Shes now waiting for her passport back. Hope that helps.

You should call alberta blue cross directly - each "plan" is specific to whichever group you belong to and may be different for someone else.

To speed things up get a bank draft from back home and just make sure you declare it when you get to customs - all they'll do is ask why you have so much - then deposit it in the bank you open here.
