No signature from immigration officer in COPR on landing..is this fine?

I was going home anyway for Christmas so just got it corrected when I landed back at Pearson. You could try and make an appointment at the CIC office at Kipling? It's not massively urgent but it does need to be corrected so waiting a few weeks for an appointment should be fine.

    What benefit from GCMS notes???

If there's been a delay, it can help see what the issue is. Some people need to have passed a certain level of processing to apply for work permit extensions, can only see when it's passed that in the notes. Some people just want to see what comments have been made on their file.

Not able to get work expereince letter. Suggestions needed

I think you can go ahead as is, include the copy of the contract & whatever other letters you have for it, include the trail of emails that they refused the letter & if possible get a letter from a colleague there confirming you worked there, the job you had etc. It's not a definite as it...

No signature from immigration officer in COPR on landing..is this fine?

It needs to be signed. You'll have to go back to a point of entry to get it corrected. Someone else said yet didn't have a stamp on their COPR, that'll need to be corrected too. Happened me and was unable to renew my OHIP because of if. Called CIC and they said it needs to be stamped as its a...

Work experience and payroll! Please, help!

Yes. But the point I was making was that not having foreign work experience doesn't disqualify you from FSW.

Question about master degree and Convocation in Canada

since they do ask for a copy of the degree itself in the documents post ITA, its probably best not to claim points for a degree until its actually awarded to you.

Express Entry CEC: Proof of Financial Means

CEC applicants don't have a minimum fund requirement. If you put in an amount of money in your EE profile you'll be asked for proof of it, regardless. But if you're going CEC you can put in 0 and that'll be fine.

Work experience and payroll! Please, help!

this is not true. to qualify for FSW you just need a years continuous skilled work experience in the previous 10 years, it doesn't matter if that experience is gained in Canada or your home country. I know as I got my PR through FSW and only had Canadian work experience.

    Anyone got Negative LMIA ?

reasons for rejection: -didn't meet the advertising requirements -not enough proof that a Canadian couldn't do it, ie. they believed it was possible to get a Canadian to fill the role -didn't meet wage requirements for the role.

Can I still accept this ITA? - URGENT Asivad & Others Please Reply

the cut off today was 457. Either way they calculated it, you're above the cut off so would have gotten an ITA anyway. The only time it'd be a problem would be if a change happened that meant you actually were recalculated as having less than the cut off when you got invited.

Can I still accept this ITA? - URGENT Asivad & Others Please Reply

yep. so long as the recalculation of points doesn't put you below the cut off then you're good. Yours actually gave you more points so stop worrying.

    Jan 27th draw crs 457

why so angry? 2 - we have no positive confirmation from CIC that the scores will drop. Speculating is fine, but presenting it as definitive is misleading. they might drop if they increase invites, or CIC might be maintaining the score at a level and have decided they'll do a draw when they have...

Track your PR card timeline and processing times here

its not gone over. Doesn't matter what the processing time given at the point of landing is. I was told 45 days when I landed. What matters is the processing time online. Unless you go over that time since the date you landed, then you're not gone over. And since they keep increasing it, its...

Returning Canadian Family and one non-Canadian with a 1983 PR!

Ireland is visa exempt so if he has an Irish passport he doesn't need a travel document to get to Canada. But if they plan on coming back after March 15 this year, he might need to get an ETA. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta.asp

    LMIA Processing

LMIA processing can take anything up to 5 months. There's no way you can expedite it and if its all submitted there's nothing else you can do but wait. FYI, he is legally not allowed to ask for that $1000 off you so its not that he's doing you a favour not asking you to pay it.

    Please share experience letter

people can't and shouldn't send you a copy of their letter. It will contain personal details of their salary, benefits, address etc and I really hope no one is going to send a stranger those details. Besides which, each letter is going to be specific to that job. You can't copy one that someone...

URGENT HELP-Proof of Fund request from CIC for 12164 $,I am in Canada for 2 year

that can't be done. you need to provide bank balances for 6 months. if there is a lump deposit of the amount you need to prove where it came from and that its your money. loans are specifically not allowed as proof of funds.

URGENT HELP-Proof of Fund request from CIC for 12164 $,I am in Canada for 2 year

you wont be able to convince the officer. FSW requirements state you need to meet the fund requirement. If you can't meet it, you shouldn't have accepted the ITA under that stream. Do you have any RRSP's, pension funds, stocks etc that could be liquidated easily? I'm not saying you need to...
