Ridiculous. People in Edmonton say people in Scarborough are getting processed faster. People in Scarborough is saying people in Edmonton are being processed quicker. Read up the forum, you'll see comments like these. 5 minutes to one person is fast, 5 minutes to another person is an eternity.

getting a police report prior for a lost passport PRIOR to a citizenship application may cause a red flag. the same red flag for applicants who arrived in Canada PRIOR to a citizenship test do what you can and good luck.

April applicants are filling in the Application Type column incorrectly. Obviously, its a citizenship thread and you don't put 'Citizenship' under Application Type, its Single or Family

While we process your application, you should only contact CIC if: you change your address, you plan to leave Canada for more than two weeks in a row, you are charged with a crime or we do not contact you about your file within the posted processing times.

If I remember correctly, if you need a copy of your landing document, it is processed in about 6 months. Better research further and check with CIC. Thanks.

seeing other getting AORs faster than ourselves, transferred to local office updates left and right etc does cause a bit of anxiousness. seeing our friends from 2011 and 2012 applicants still awaiting on their test dates, will make us think twice about being anxious... patience my friend...

Thanks guys! I believe having our files vetted prior (original Feb 20 applicant, app was returned), they should have gone through the docs already and it was just a matter of time...AOR in 15 days...wow! kudos to CIC. Our PR card is expiring in July, hopefully our citizenship journey will end...
