    Feb 2015 citizenship applicants

Both my driver's license and PR card expired before my test. They asked for my PR card and retuned it with no question during the interview after the test. I showed them my new driver's license with no issue as well. I did not inform cic of the expiration/renewed cards.

    Oath ceremony-Ottawa

Hi AsianIndian, Our test date was a little over a week from your test date. We were still kinda hopeful of getting an oath invite in about 1-2 weeks, so I guess if your theory is correct, that one week test date difference would translate to an additional month of waiting.

Dropping middle name when applying for Canadian Passort

If you have a common first and last name, your middle name is what will practically 'save' you when your name comes up on: black lists, wanted list, person of interest etc. You may not need your middle name often for identification, but it will literally save your neck when it comes to...

That interview after the test was your best chance to ask questions. You should have signed a form to indicate that you have not been arrested etc. It is impossible that the officer did not inform you of your test result. Kindly provide more info, we can't take your comments out of context...

Things have slowed down - new applications from July 2015 onwards

I remember when I first joined this forum, the Jan-May 2015 group threads were very active. Each month has about 80-100 recorded applicants (except for Feb 2015). Now, I don't even know if there is an active August, September or October 2015 applicants thread. Seems like a lot of people got...
