You have to land before your medical expires (12 months validity). So if you took them in April, CIC probably feels there's not enough time left to ensure you will land before the 12 months period once you get your PR. If I were you I would go ahead and do a new medical.

There are plenty of youtube videos that teach you how to take the fingerprints at home. I will be doing that and I will include 3 sets just in case. People on this forum have successfully gotten their fbi pcc that way.

The diploma. But you are right, scanned original it is. I was confused with the oinp application where copies are needed.
