I
I am sponsoring my husband. Under Spousal sponsorship program, so that’s why I asked, We just got married, does he needs to provide police certificate for his 18+ family members(Father, mother, brother and sisters) or no?
Hi Guys.
I have came with another question
In the new forms they are asking that all family members 18+ needs police checks.
Is it just for principle applicant or the entire family?
I Think I have to make 3 files (bundles) for our sponsorship,
Is it like this:
Sponsorer
Principle Applicant
Relationship Documents
OR
Is it okay to follow the checklist and prepare documents based on that?
Thanks a lot for the information, some people, they were saying to have a letter written as cover so that they know that its spousal sponsorship, this information they have given looks so weird, so I just posted in here to see if its okay to do so.
Dear All,
I am in the process of filling the forms and gathering all documents and evidences, someone told me that i need to have a cover letter that i should explain why I am applying for spousal sponsorship.
We have our civil marriage certificate from third country since I can not travel back to my home country.
We stamped and verified the marriage certificate from all embassies and ministry of foreign affairs in all related countries.
Is that enough or do we need to apply for a marriage...
Oh thanks a lot for the reply.
Another question,
Our Viber msgs and texts conversation is in our native language, and I am printing all those stuff, it’s more than a lot.
Do I need to translate it by a certified translator and notarize it?
I’m a Permanent Resident in Canada, I would like to first apply spousal sponsorship for my husband then after IRCC received the file, can I travel outside Canada to meet my husband again or not?
Came up with a question:
There is a list of 5 people I should write in our Relationship Forms, who knows about our relation.
So I have given family members and friends contact details, do they need to write an Affidavit or no?

No, we tried to apply for temporary resident visa, but since the purpose of his visit was to get married, we did not apply because then the Immigration would have rejected his application.
I am permanent resident in Canada and my husband is in Asia, so we planned and went to the third country in order to get married and now he went back to my home country and I came to Canada to start the sponsorship for him, we did not get married inside Canada.
