No mine still says "Not Started". From what I've read online the background check does not go into In Process until they've approved your PPR and happens usually a week to a few days before they send you the visa (in rare cases it may be a bit longer)

I'm sure you already know this but you can easily go to File -> See Revision history to restore any version of the document after any changes have been made to undo anyone's malicious efforts! :) It takes no longer than 5 seconds to restore an older version of the document before people messed...

Google automatically saves past revisions of each change made on the spreadsheet so it is always restorable no matter what. So the spreadsheet can never be lost technically :)
