No you will receive a letter via email or mail when you get SA. But the processing is good that means they are working on it (at least for me). What's interesting is for me I got the SA letter via email but no change on the website. However under the applicant the same day I got the SA it said...

CanadaPost delivers the package to a PO Box so there is no one to sign for it (that's not a bad thing necessarily). If you send it via UPS/FedEx it goes directly to the office so that has to be signed for. Not a big deal either way as no one usually looks at it for a few days at least.

For what it's worth 2 weeks ago I used myfbireport.com I mailed them my prints that I did same-day at a local sheriff's office overnight and paid for overnight shipping return. They processed them same day and mailed my FBI clearance same-day overnight....total process was 48 hours!!! Don't wait...

The applicant was American and the Sponsor is Canadian living in America which is probably why it was so fast but still even the American outland takes usually 2 months so I was a bit surprised! Good luck to you!
