UCI Number is more than enough. They ask some security question like dob, name, post code etc. He didn't provide me any app number, but was very polite and answered all the questions.

That's interesting.. Everyone who called the CIC was told that we need to submit the ORIGINAL FORM with ORIGINAL SIGNATURES and NO SCANNED COPIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This is where I'm getting confused over the process that CIC is taking.. !! Very misleading !!

I met all the requirements still I picked option 1 too. I think most would have picked option 1 as in the guide I remember it says, only application on humanitarian ground should pick option 2.

Not sure whether the CAP is reached yet. But in the find form section under family sponsorship, parents, grandparents sponsorship link has disappeared. Though the forms are still available if you search for. I'm not sure what to read out of this behavior since there is no notices or news update...

Application received on 9th.. Charged at 12 noon today.. I had a minor mistake of not writing the names in native language in the family details form, but wasn't an issue. Other than that meets all the requirements and application sent with original signatures... Thanks all for the support...

I would say, still there is hope... !! If it isn't returned yet, most probably both applications ended up in two different officers hand.. the other will get charged eventually.
