    Relocation during Outland processing

Hi everyone, I recently submitted an Outland PR application (sponsored by my Canadian common-law partner). Just out of the blue I have received a job offer in the USA that is hard to refuse. If I was to take it my partner and our one child would all relocate together. The position would be for...

You can do either: you can print on regular photo paper and write all necessary information on the back of the photo, or you could print on regular paper and type all the necessary info under the photo. It doesn't really matter. Make sure you select a range of different photos from different...

Also, for some reason if you are using a Mac, the barcodes will not generate when you validate the forms using the latest version of Adobe. You need to use an older version!

Common Law - still married to his previous partner

I recently applied through common-law, and my parter had previously been married. It is our understanding that he had to be divorced in order to sponsor me. We got this information from the instruction on the IMM 1344 Application Form, Question 9 You must tell us if you were previously married...

    September 2017 spousal visa applicant

I'm sorry to hear your application got returned. I would definitely print out the updated forms and fill them out again. Don't give them any reason to return it again. Yes, it's always possible that there are other errors that were not picked up, thus I would go through the Complete Guide IMM...

    IMM 5532 question

No where it’s greyed out you just leave it. This application is all paper-based so if there’s a section that is NOT greyed out but it doesn’t not apply to you, you must write N/A either before or after printing

    IMM 0008 question

I think once it’s greyed out it’s becuase they know that section doesn’t apply to you based on a previous answer you supplied (ie in this case you selected a province other than Quebec), and that you don’t need to put anything in those sections. If you want to err on the side of caution i don’t...

    IMM 5532 question

The Compete Guide (IMM 5289) under "Step 5. Check your application to avoid common mistakes" clearly states: You must fill out all sections, unless instructed otherwise. If a section doesn’t apply to you, you must write “Not applicable” or “N/A”. Thus, do not leave any questions blank. If the...

    IMM 0008 question

This is stated in the instructions for the IMM 0008 form: "Question 6: If you intend to live in the Province of Quebec and are applying under a Quebec immigration program, have you received your Certificat de Sélection du Québec (CSQ)? Check the corresponding box If you checked “Yes”, please...

    Regarding sections that don't apply...

Just one 'N/A' per question, not every single line for the same question. It is just to show them that you have not forgotten to answer a question, rather that a particular question does not apply to you.

    spouse sponsorship, Family Class, Outland.

    spouse sponsorship, Family Class, Outland.

You just have to put N/A in the language, education sections etc. They will understand why if your child is only 1 year old (you have to put the DOB). I had the same problem with my dependent, but you still MUST add them as a dependent to this form.

    spouse sponsorship, Family Class, Outland.

Yep based on your description of your family you would put 4. Family members are defined by the IRCC as a spouse or common-law partner, and any dependents.
