We've been in background check for at least 6 months. Really depends on where you're applying from and the officer you get.

Two countries - Mexico and Canada. They gave an overly generous 120 day window to provide them and I guess that played to our detriment. in GCMS the due date for next review was set to around 130 days days from request date. However that date, Apr 10, passed without any news.

I'm guessing the background check is in progress since the time that the police certificates were requested - 4.5 months ago (end of November). Through GCMS I saw that they added the certificates to the file at the end of January. Since then the file has been just sitting there.

Awesome! congrats! Looks like you got the approval for your application and they will issue the visa. Bio-data page is the primary passport page, with name, photo, etc. Whole passport copy is a copy of all pages. Looks like your hard work running around all the bureaucrats paid off.

Will take a couple of weeks until you can go. The time to move depends on when your medical is expiring. Can be 1 month, can be 12 months if it was extended.
