Spousal Visa Interview not went well

They sure do. And if they are to act professional they should ask any major questions in the beginning of the interview and not get upset, implying the applicants made a major mistake. VO officers are in a position of certain power and this seems like abuse of it - applicants coming here so...

Spousal Visa Interview not went well

The process is to inform the VO about status changes, address changes, family composition, etc, not rituals that are outside of what is recognized by Canada. If they were interested in anything like that VO should be clear about it. Otherwise the interviewer was just playing with her power. Visa...

Your PR will not be affected by trying to get a visa. You can try to get it. It helps if you have a good job, property, children that will not travel with you to show that you will return. Also helps if you have visas to or history of traveling to developed countries and returning (Europe, US...

It looks like this is the bring forward date - date of when the case will need to be reviewed. In practice it seems that the case is reviewed before that - after receiving new documentation - either from applicant or from other sources like CSIS, etc. Of course it doesn't get reviewed...

Undertaking length - is the 'contract' the sponsor makes with the government promising to support the applicant financially for 3 years - 36 months. Nothing to do with the progress of your application. If anything confusing - ask, I ordered 3 sets of the notes and went over every detail there.

Out of status in Canada - is it better to apply inland or outland?

To report back - the processing of our application has been completed and we got COPR. So to confirm the answer my own question in the original post of this thread - yes, it is possible to get an outland sponsorship application approved even while staying in Canada without status the whole time...

Ok, we finally got the COPR yesterday! The wait is over. PPR was sent to us on May 17. Sent everything the next day by email - scan of passport, PDF of Fedex prepaid shipping label, address confirmation. They sat on it for almost 3 weeks before sending back the COPR with all the photos and...

    Leasing a car in Toronto

Really depends on your financial situation and how handy you are with cars. If you have a high income and dread any car problems - lease is not a bad option. If you don't want to spend as much money and are ok with occasionally taking care of car issues you can save a lot of money by not...

Best City in the GTA to Live In for Newcomers with Small Families.

My suggestion - don't settle in GTA unless you have family or something else tying you to GTA. Settle in Ottawa region - the salaries are as high or higher than GTA and real estate and rent is much cheaper, plus quieter = quality of life should be much better.

    Export/Import Car From US!

For exporting you you might need to use AES system - this is something new, I'm not too sure how this works. At the time I exported/imported it was necessary to fax the title 72 hours in advance to the US customs at the border point where you cross. Your main concern is import though, a bit more...

    Export/Import Car From US!

It's all spelled out here: https://www.riv.ca/ImportingAVehicle.aspx Before you import in to Canada you'll need to get a recall clearance letter from the manufacturer. If the vehicle doesn't conform to Canadian standards (eg labels, daytime running lights, etc) you should be able to do the...

how my status... please help T_T

I believe it will not affect your application, but I can't say for sure. For medical report - if you have already done it just write back to them and tell them it's been submitted and you can attach a receipt from the medical office. Should have some kind if ID on it. If you haven't done the...

You don't have to steal or murder to run into issues. If you drive a car and get stopped by police for whatever reason they can and sometimes do report immigration violations to CBSA if they check your ID. If you happen to be at a noisy party with an uncooperative host. If you are in a park with...

Lay low and don't get in trouble with the law, then you have a good chance of not getting deported. You can't apply for a work or study permit anymore and you can't leave the country without risking your application.

    Separation and deportation

She has her PR, she doesn't need COPR. Veronica90: don't be afraid. It shows that you have integrity when you don't want to rely on welfare unless you absolutely don't have another option. But if you really don't have another option - go for it.
