hmmm... it looks like every case is being processed differently... i see several activities created when CPC-M approved the sponsorship (Jan 18, 2012): Medical, Criminality, Security, Eligibility... all created by CPC-M in status Not Started... then file transferred to CPP-O and Medical changes...

do you see the date when Criminality started? is it before medicals? or after?

i don't see it in my GCMS notes... may be CIC populates this field only when they start Criminality check... not sure...

it is weird... i see records for medicals for both my parents and criminality records for both my parents even if status is Not Started...

i think that CIC is asking to send passport to US only those parents who are currently in Canada... if the parent is in the home country - then they will be sending passports to LVO... so it should not be a problem...

so it is still Application received and then when you click on it you see Medicals received?

well... not that i disagree with you... but cic have been processing parents applications for years... and the process is more or less the same... not sure what exactly is not clear for cic...

thank you... i hope so... and i understand that there is nothing i can do - just wait... just expected CPP-O to be working on clearing the backlog - not sitting on cases... and was upset with GCMS notes with no new info... and my parents want to go on vacation abroad in November - December...
