it is not too late - they are doing medicals on Saturday this week... honestly i don't think it will make any difference where to send medicals - they are going to the medical office... even if it's in the same building - i don't think it will impact the timeline...

actually - i read on another forum that some DMPs are sending results to the Medical Office in Ottawa even if the case is processed in another country... but even if they go to Ottawa - they are going to a different department - not the same department that processes applications... medical...

i think that the reason that CPC-M was faster approving applications with additional documents sent in December than with additional documents sent in January is just the volume of applications... my understanding is that now they are working on applications from 2007-2008 - not sitting on...

i think there is a good explanation for it - most of the applicants were not able to submit the documents in December so the number of letters with additional documents coming to Mississauga in December was low and they were able to process them fast... the numbers of letters coming to CIC every...

i thought that transferrig file to a local office is a standard procedure for parents applications - nothing new about it... transferring cases to Ottawa is a new procedure for parents applications but it was used before for other types of applications... so i don't really see a reason for a...

it looks like there is a web link in the e-mail... you are not allowed to post links if you are new to the forum... copy-paste the e-maill from CIC and then find the links in it and modify them, so they don't look like web links, for example, remove http://www. portion of it...

there is no direct information in the e-mail about where the medical exam results should be send. my understanding is that DMP does not mail it to the visa office - they send results to a regional medical office. I think that DMP does not make the final medical decision - they send to a medical...

i believe that CIC asked to apply for police clearence certificate in their November letter... they did not ask to submit it - but asked to apply... that's what my parents did... and got it in December... so i sent the police clearance certificate to CIC last week when they asked for it...

is the request to submit passport for visa comes from Ottawa and passport has to be send to Ottawa - or at the final step the case is transferred to the local office and passport request comes from the local office? i'm sponsoring my parents - and my case is in CPP-O (new pilot for sponsoring...

yes - my understanding that the decision is made after medicals and background checks are done... and then you get a request to submit the passport... i think if the case is in the local office then it's clear - they ask to sumbit passport to the embassy... however it's not clear with CPP-O...
